Beschreibung

In this lecture we recognize the active human body, also in line with the idea of embodied cognition, as a socially situated resource for learning and teaching a second language. For classroom contexts, we introduce physical-cognitive movement versatility training that presents German as a second language with rhythmic and gestural teaching modules in various social formats. First empirical approaches are underway to examine the effects of the versatility training on diverse constituents of language processing.
