Projekt-Details
Forschungsziel
The c3d file format serves as the standard for saving biomechanical motion capture data. However, these files are often analyzed using outdated or non-reproducible software. This project aims to address this issue by developing an open-source software in the R programming language specifically designed to import and analyze c3d files. The software will provide a fast and transparent workflow for handling biomechanical data. Comprehensive documentation of functionality and testing code will be included to ensure its reliability. In addition to journal publication, the software package will undergo review by an open-source software framework known for maintaining the highest quality standards for R packages.
