Stoffstromanalyse

The aim of this R&D project, funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), is to scientifically determine and present the actual environmental impact of major sporting events, i.e. the flip side of the coin. The data collected will be used for further planning and conceptualisation purposes. In the run-up to major sporting events, model calculations can be used to reduce the potential for environmental conflicts, thereby optimising processes in the areas of infrastructure and sports facility use.
