Project details
Research objective
The present project aims to systematically characterize the vibration exposure of mountain bikes under representative trail-riding conditions through quantitative analysis of acceleration data. A comprehensive understanding of vibration characteristics is a prerequisite for the optimization of damping technologies, frame materials, and bike configurations that mitigate mechanical stress on the rider.
