Abstract
Studies have shown that VALR and VILR are considered risk factors for running injuries such as plantar fasciitis and tibial stress fractures. However, how loading rates change with speed and slope is poorly described in the literature. Purpose: to compare average and instantaneous loading rates (VALR, VILR) of the vertical ground reaction force (vGRF) at different running speeds and slopes.
