Abstract

This article looks at Hip-Hop as a creative culture of participation that demands constant communication as well as an unique skill set of practical and thearetical knowledge. In dialoge with Chris Kattenbeck's article from this book and the definition of "artistic agency", it observes how these unique skill sets are negelcted by formal art and education settings and institutions.
